A line as emotionally powerful as “I’m begging you to stay” was obviously going to create a dynamic pattern in the water, we just didn’t expect it to portray the narrator’s soul in turmoil as well as it did. Symmetrically asymmetrical, this print displays the inner conflict against the darkness and, more importantly, the imminent descent towards that darkness.
From exploring and interpreting the song lyrics and musical structure, to observing the collision of individual musical components, and seeing how their amalgamation manifested in the water and was captured in a unique photograph – we poured all our thoughts, time, and love into creating something that we hope you'll love as much as the song itself.

We’re a small artist-run label based in Germany, and we still want to make our art accessible to people all over the world – under the fairest conditions possible. 💌
We currently ship to the following countries: Germany, the European Union (EU), the United Kingdom (UK), the United States of America (USA), Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Shipping to other countries is only possible upon request – feel free to contact us at info@melissadowden-art.com.
Delivery can take up to two weeks, but it’s usually much faster. As soon as your print is on its way, you’ll of course receive a tracking number.
Each print is produced only after your order is placed – we don’t produce in advance, but intentionally create only what is truly wanted. This helps conserve resources and avoid overproduction.
